• Our PFL presses are the result of a long experience in the field of cold gluing. The frame of the press is obtained by welding together steel beams. Both the top and the bottom platens are planed in order to have a better flatness of the pressing surfaces. The top platen can be split in two or four (upon request) independently and work at different pressures. 
• Feeding and out feeding made easy by series of rollers mounted on springs that permit them to be lowered when pressing.
  
  

ORMA Cold press - HL SERIES

• Our HL presses are the result of a long experience in the field of cold gluing. The frame of the press is obtained by welding together steel beams. Hydraulic system

• The rams are thickness chromed to grant a perfect flowing and a higher working life either of the seal gaskets or the piston itself. Even in this case quality has been our main concern, and we've chosen the thickest chromed system instead of the one by chrome bath which has lower costs but absolutely no lasting guarantee.
• All the pistons are bolted to the structure, so to be easily removed in case of servicing. Another possibility is to weld pistons to the structure but in so doing all the functions of the press would be of a much lower quality.
• High reliability hydraulic power unit with a double pump system; one with low pressure for the platen quick closure and automatic plugging of the other one, at high pressure, to reach the pressure set to the pressure gauge by the operator.
• Hydraulic Power unit motor plunged in oil bath to obtain a better cooling and to reduce noise, further on to avoid any possible damages caused by accidental shocks.

Our hydraulic presses are very easy to be operated. The "PCL"and "C" cold hydraulic presses are the results of ten years experience in this field.

• The "PCL" presses have top movable platen while the "C" have bottom movable platen.
• The bearing structures are obtained by together assembling beams, tubules and casings granting special strength and resistance to the presses; the platens are covered with aluminum. Upon request, the "PCL" and "C" presses can be supplied with automatic pressure recovery.
• The hydraulic presses Ormamacchine series C4 - C6 are designed with the same criterion used for stronger presses even if they are economic machines.

Handling properly panels on through feed presses has always been a problem. To improve productivity and to facilitate these operations we designed and now manufactured the device shown in the side picture.

(NPC/R) This device, or rather a double composite conveyor, allows the transfer of boards from the glue spreading machine onto the press lay up table turning them of 90°C the double conveyor, fixed to the press lay up table frame, is composed by a powered system whose knives run orthogonally to the press and by a free wheel conveyor, inserted in the same direction of the press infeed conveyor.
