• Press dimension from 2600 x 1400 mm up to 3500 x 1900 mm including special sizes. Total pressing force can range from 200 tons (HKP 200) to 500 tons (HKP 500).  
  The standard design of this press comes complete with full steel gantries, hard chromium plated pistons, maintenance free hydraulic system, steel heating plates, to name but a few, and is therefore well equipped right from the start.  
• There are other alternatives for loading and unloading procedures and with regards to the control system, making it possible to adjust this machine to the customers requirements. 
• A complete press street consists of lifting table complete with loading unit, brushing and glue spreading machine, disc rollerway, the press itself and the discharge unit for the staking of the finished workpieces.

ORMA Cold press - HL SERIES

• Bottom movable platen (side loading)
• Our HL presses are the result of a long experience in the field of cold gluing. The frame of the press is obtained by welding together steel beams. Both the top and the bottom platens are planed in order to have a better flatness of the pressing surfaces. Hydraulic system

• The rams are thickness chromed to grant a perfect flowing and a higher working life either of the seal gaskets or the piston itself. Even in this case quality has been our main concern, and we've chosen the thickest chromed system instead of the one by chrome bath which has lower costs but absolutely no lasting guarantee.
• All the pistons are bolted to the structure, so to be easily removed in case of servicing. Another possibility is to weld pistons to the structure but in so doing all the functions of the press would be of a much lower quality.
• High reliability hydraulic power unit with a double pump system; one with low pressure for the platen quick closure and automatic plugging of the other one, at high pressure, to reach the pressure set to the pressure gauge by the operator.
• Hydraulic Power unit motor plunged in oil bath to obtain a better cooling and to reduce noise, further on to avoid any possible damages caused by accidental shocks.

Mechanical elements

• All the NPC Presses are fitted with a crossed racks system so composed: 2 racks group for the platen depth and 2 groups for the length all connected between them by torsion shafts so to grant a perfect platen movement.
• Nr. 4 lateral guides, positioned on the 4 interior faces of the press legs. This is a further guarantee of a perfect platen movement during either their opening or closing.
• The press platens flatness is guaranteed by the precision with which the beams are processed. In fact both the platens are made with beams welded between them and after mechanically milled.

Our hydraulic presses are very easy to be operated. The "PCL" and "C" cold hydraulic presses are the results of ten years experience in this field.

• The "PCL" presses have top movable platen while the "C" have bottom movable platen.
• The bearing structures are obtained by together assembling beams, tubules and casings granting special strength and resistance to the presses; the platens are covered with aluminum. Upon request, the "PCL" and "C" presses can be supplied with automatic pressure recovery.
• The hydraulic presses Ormamacchine series C4 - C6 are designed with the same criterion used for stronger presses even if they are economic machines.
